...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CHST SUNDAY...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 7 to
  10 feet in the surf zone. For the High Rip Current Risk,
  dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, along north facing reefs of
  Tinian and Saipan. For the High Rip Current Risk, along east
  facing reefs of Tinian and Saipan.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 5 PM ChST Sunday. For
  the High Rip Current Risk, through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
  swimmers away   from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An east to northeast swell associated with
  Typhoon Saudel will bring hazardous surf along north facing reefs,
  and produce a high risk of rip currents along the east-facing reefs
  of Tinian and Saipan through at least Sunday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against
the current. If able, swim in a direction following the
shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave
for help.

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...East facing reefs of Guam and Rota.

* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An east to northeast swell associated with
  Typhoon Saudel will bring an increase in surf and produce a high
  risk of rip currents along the east-facing reefs of Guam and Rota
  through at least Sunday afternoon. As Saudel moves closer to the
  far northern Marianas, surf will build along north facing reefs,
  potentially becoming hazardous later this weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
