Westerly gale force gusts are likely through tonight tonight over
the outer waters. Winds and seas will gradually diminish into the
weekend as high pressure builds across the Gulf of Maine. The high
shifts east Sunday as another cold front approaches and then crosses
the waters Sunday night with another period of gales possible both
ahead of behind the front. High pressure then builds back in Monday
before a coastal low potentially brings increased winds and seas
Tuesday into Wednesday of next week.
