Breezy and cloudy this morning as a cold front approaches the region. Morning inversion should hold until around 10am. After, southeast winds increase with gusts up to 20 mph. Winds will tend to shift south, then southwest into the late morning/early afternoon as front approaches. The front will bring rain beginning around noon, with additional chances of showers through the afternoon. A thunderstorm can`t be ruled out. The initial round of rain has been producing about 0.1 to 0.25 inch of rainfall, with additional possible through the late afternoon, but more isolated. Coverage decreases this evening, as low pressure stalls to the west. Winds lighten, but a variable breeze remains overnight. Clouds are expected to remain overhead through Saturday with additional shower development through the day.
