.REST OF TODAY...
Winds will remain light and variable ahead of a cold front approaching
from the northwest, allowing for light downsloping winds at the fire site
this morning, becoming light southeasterly winds by this afternoon with
daytime heating. Isolated to scattered showers are expected at the site
by this afternoon. A similar pattern is expected again tonight before
the cold front reaches the Big Island sometime Sunday morning, bringing
numerous showers and breezy east-northeasterly winds. Inversion heights
will remain around 5,000 to 6,000 feet today ahead of the front.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny then becoming mostly cloudy.
                    Scattered rain showers in the afternoon.
