.DISCUSSION...Moderate easterly trade winds weaken and shift out of
the south at around 10,000 feet, then become moderate southeast at
around 15,000 feet. Slightly unstable conditions will linger today,
with a chance of a few heavy showers over the interior. A ridge
building overhead tonight and Tuesday will bring more stability
with decreasing rainfall chances. The building ridge aloft will
produce moderate east winds from the surface up to 18,000 feet. The
deep east flow will persist below 15,000 on Wednesday but will shift
out of the south at greater elevations.
