Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
High pressure ridging will remain across the N waters over the
next few days with the ridge expected to slightly drift southward
over the weekend due to a front approaching from the NW. The
front is  expected to stall and diminish near the far NW waters
around Sunday. An extra large NW swell is expected to pass
through the waters Saturday through early next week.
