Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship
Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A cold front is pushing through the coastal waters and ushering in
strong northerly winds and elevated seas. A Small Craft Advisory
is in effect for all waters through late Monday morning for all
waters, but may be extended into the afternoon hours for the
offshore waters. Occasional gusts to gale force cannot be ruled
out offshore in the open Gulf tonight. Light northeasterly winds
are expected to develop by Monday night with onshore flow returning
by Tuesday. May need to monitor the potential for sea fog by
midweek.
