Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship
Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Gusty northerly winds around 20 knots with occasionally higher
gusts will continue into tonight. Winds will decrease and veer
northeast on Friday into Saturday. A reprieve from the shower
activity is expected tonight, but scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms return Friday morning and continue into Friday
night before exiting to the east Saturday morning. Light onshore
winds develop late Saturday into Sunday morning before offshore
winds begin again by sunrise Sunday. A dry cold front is expected
to move through the coastal waters late Sunday bringing a period
of moderate to strong north to northeasterly winds that continue
into Monday morning.
