Bays.

1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Moderate to strong southeasterly winds and building seas continue. Buoy
19 is reporting wave heights of 9 feet at this time and sites in
the bays are reporting winds of 20-25 kts with gusts to 30 kts.
Small Craft Advisories are in effect for all waters. Shower and
thunderstorm chances increase ahead of a strong cold front that
should be pushing off the coast after midnight, around 2am, and
across the Gulf waters through the late night and early Sunday
morning hours. A few storms may be on the stronger side. Moderate
to strong offshore flow and elevated seas will persist in the wake
of the front. An upper level disturbance is forecast to push
overhead Sunday night and Monday bringing another chance of
showers and isolated thunderstorms to the waters.
