Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A tightening pressure gradient will lead to increasing southeast
winds and building seas as we head into the middle and late parts
of the work week.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected
through tonight. Moderate to occasionally strong southeast winds
early this morning will gradually diminish today...though seas
should remain somewhat elevated throughout the day. Periods of
unsettled weather are expected this weekend into early next week
with coastal areas sandwiched between a weak, slow moving frontal
boundary along the coast and a broad, elongated trough of low
pressure stretching southward across the western Gulf. Northeast
winds will increase and precipitation decrease as the front tracks
further offshore.
