329 FZUS54 KHGX 180513 CWFHGX Coastal Waters Forecast for Texas National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX 1113 PM CST Mon Nov 17 2025 Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ300-181730- 1113 PM CST Mon Nov 17 2025 .Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays. Onshore flow is beginning to strengthen, but should remain light to moderate through today, along with relatively low seas. As patchy fog develops inland for the next couple of nights, some of that fog may drift across the upper portions of the Bays during the late night to early morning hours. The onshore flow is expected to strengthen late Wednesday into Thursday ahead of an approaching cold front.
