.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A coastal trough is forecast to develop tonight bringing periods
of rain and isolated storms tonight into Thursday morning. There
could be some embedded strong storms in the waters in the 11pm-6am
timeframe tonight. Some reduced visibility in sea fog is
anticipated, though it is currently not expected to become dense
due to the precipitation in the region. As the trough passes to
our east Thursday afternoon, moderate to strong north to
northeasterly winds will develop and continue into Friday. Some
upper level disturbances will continue to pass overhead Thursday
afternoon through Friday afternoon keeping rain chances in the
forecast before clearing out on Saturday.
