...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE POTENTIAL FAILURE OF CARTER LAKE DAM
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by a potential dam or levee failure
  continues to be possible at the Carter Lake Dam.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  county, Polk.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Dam failure may result in flash flooding of low-lying
  areas below the dam.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A resident in the area reported rushing water leaking from
    the dam. This information was referred to local officials and
    the dam operator. Urgent maintenance is ongoing.
