...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  San Bernard River near Sweeny affecting Brazoria County.

  Trinity River near Crockett affecting Houston, Madison, Walker
  and Trinity Counties.

  Navasota River near Normangee affecting Grimes, Brazos and
  Madison Counties.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...

  San Bernard River near Boling affecting Fort Bend, Wharton and
  Brazoria Counties.

For the Trinity River...including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor,
Goodrich, Moss Bluff, Liberty...Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the Navasota River...including Normangee...Major flooding is
forecast.
For the San Bernard River...including Sweeny, East Bernard, Boling...
Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...San Bernard River near Sweeny.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water begins spilling into the left
  floodplain. Water is over the mid level walkway at the Phillips
  Terminal near Sweeny.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 5 feet
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM CDT Saturday was 10.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling to 0.9 feet Thursday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    10.1 feet on 07/08/2024.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...San Bernard River near Boling.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins upstream
  from the gage with significant backwater flooding up Peach Creek
  in Wharton County inundating low-lying areas. Minor backwater
  flooding up Snake Creek in Fort Bend County begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 20.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 PM CDT Saturday was 22.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue falling to 5.9 feet Thursday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    20.2 feet on 05/31/2007.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Crockett.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins in the
  vicinity of the gage impacting livestock grazing and prison farms.
  In past floods, problems occurred from the Highway 7 bridge
  downstream to Highway 21 bridge due to high flows in the backwater
  of Lake Livingston.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 42.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 PM CDT Saturday was 42.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 44.6 feet early
    Thursday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    44.7 feet on 03/09/2001.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Navasota River near Normangee.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins with massive
  inundation of the floodplain as the river is close to 2 miles wide
  and OSR become inundated one half mile on the right bank and 1.5
  miles on the left bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 PM CDT Saturday was 21.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 15.2 feet
    Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    22.4 feet on 03/11/2016.
