Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
217 PM CDT Wed Jun 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Very light transport winds, below 3 MPH, along with medium
afternoon rain and storm chances for the next two days will hinder
burning conditions. Mixing heights will be above 3KFT yet with
the incredibly light transport winds, dispersions will be limited
to fair to generally good. Scattered strong to severe storms will
support a risk for wetting rains each afternoon. However, with
scatter storm coverage there will likely be a large variation in
actual rainfall amounts.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog will be possible
the next two nights With the best chances in low areas and along
water ways.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
