.DISCUSSION...

A low pressure system will spread rain across much of the Deep
South and north into the Tennessee Valley later today into Friday.
In north Alabama, rainfall is expected especially tonight into
early Friday. Low chances of rain will occur at times through the
weekend into early next week as additional weak systems traverse
the region, but most of this rainfall will occur south of north
Alabama.

For today and Friday, mixing heights will remain at or below 3000
ft AGL with generally poor smoke dispersion with generally northerly
transport winds below 10 mph.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy freezing fog is expected
this morning.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not expected.
