Warm and humid conditions prevailed across central and eastern
Kansas today along with lingering thunderstorms over northeast
and southeast Kansas. A few of the storms produced severe weather.
Afternoon highs were in the 80s and 90s with easterly winds.

A cold front will sag slowly southward from Kansas into northern
Oklahoma tonight. Scattered to numerous showers and storms are
expected to develop over northern Oklahoma into eastern Kansas and
western Missouri tonight. Some of the storms could become severe
and capable of producing large hail and damaging winds. Overnight
lows will range from the cool low 50s in northern Nebraska to the
mid 70s in central Oklahoma.

On Sunday, scattered showers and storms will linger over northeast
Kansas into eastern Nebraska. Meanwhile rest of the region will
remain dry. The frontal boundary will lift northward as a warm
front from Oklahoma into Kansas on Sunday. Daytime highs will
range from the cooler 70s north of the front to the hot triple
digits in central Oklahoma.
