Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
344 PM CST Wed Dec 3 2025

Breezy north winds were observed over the region today as a cold
front pushed through portions of Nebraska and Kansas. Light snow was
noted over parts of far east Colorado and far west Kansas, though
most of the Central Plains remained dry throughout the day.
Afternoon high temperatures ranged from the 20s and 30s across
Nebraska to the 40s and 50s across parts of Kansas and Oklahoma.

A chilly night is anticipated across the Heartland with low
temperatures dipping into the single digits and even below zero in
eastern Nebraska. Otherwise, the mercury will largely drop into the
teens and 20s across Kansas and northern Oklahoma under partly to
mostly cloudy skies. A few snowflakes are possible late tonight into
early Thursday morning across Kansas and northern Oklahoma, though
no accumulation is expected.

Chilly temperatures are expected to linger in the Plains on
Thursday, with afternoon highs in the 20s and 30s for the majority
of Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Very light snow will remain
possible through Thursday afternoon in southern Kansas, though no
accumulation is expected. Partly cloudy skies in the morning will
give way to mostly clear conditions throughout the Sunflower State
as light north winds become southerly once again throughout the day.
