It was another warm and quiet day across the Heartland as
temperatures in the 70s and low 80s prevailed from Nebraska to
Oklahoma. Aside from pockets of brief gusty winds across portions of
southeast Kansas into Oklahoma, light winds were observed over most
of the region under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies.

Low temperatures in the 30s and 40s are forecast across most of
Nebraska and the western half of Kansas tonight, while temperatures
in the 50s are expected across portions of eastern Kansas and
Oklahoma. A few areas in northern Oklahoma and south central Kansas
could see patchy fog late tonight. Light winds and mostly clear to
partly cloudy skies will persist over the Heartland heading into
Friday morning.

Another warm day is in store for Middle America to close out the
week with afternoon high temperatures on Friday forecast in the 70s
and 80s from Nebraska to Oklahoma. Light winds are expected
throughout the area under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies.
