Widespread clouds and patchy drizzle prevailed across much of Kansas
overnight. Additionally, areas of dense fog impacted portions of
eastern Kansas. Predawn temperatures were in the 60s.

Areas of dense fog will persist through about mid-morning, with
mostly cloudy skies prevailing much of the day across the state. A
few thunderstorms will be possible by later this afternoon over far
western Kansas. Forecast high temperatures are in the 70s and low
80s, well below average for this time of year.

Scattered thunderstorms will impact mainly the western half of
Kansas tonight. A few strong to severe storms are possible earlier
in the evening. Forecast low temperatures are mostly in the 60s.
