A few hit-or-miss showers and thunderstorms impacted the northern
half of Kansas today, in the vicinity of a stalled frontal
boundary draped east to west across the region. Most locations
remained dry, and severe weather did not occur. Early evening
temperatures were in the 80s and 90s, coolest over far northeast
Kansas.

Other than a few showers and thunderstorms over northern Kansas
this evening, weather will remain fairly quiet tonight and Friday.
Mild temperatures in the 70s are forecast for tonight. Breezy
southwest winds and well above average temperatures will encompass
the region Friday, with forecast highs in the 90s.
