An active severe weather evening and overnight occurred across
the region with large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes reported
across eastern Kansas. The storms responsible for the severe
weather have moved into Missouri. Additional storm development is
expected across eastern Colorado and western Kansas later this
afternoon and evening. These storms are expected to propagate
into portions of central and south-central late this evening into
tonight. Daytime highs today will range from the upper 80s to
lower 90s across state with lows tonight ranging from the 50s
across western Kansas to near 70 across southeast Kansas.
