Overnight low temperatures remained in the mid 70s across eastern
Kansas. Breezy south winds were in place along with mostly clear
skies.

Today, a cold front will be moving southeastward across the region.
High temperatures will range from the low 70s across western
Nebraska to the upper 80s and low 90s across much of Kansas and
northern Oklahoma. Chances for showers and storms will increase
this afternoon across eastern Nebraska and portions of central and
western Kansas. A few storms could be severe. Gusty south winds
are expected across much of Kansas and western Oklahoma. Winds
will turn northerly across much of Nebraska by the afternoon.

This evening and tonight, showers and storms will become more
numerous across Nebraska and Kansas. Heavy rain is possible, and
has prompted flood advisories across portions of western Kansas.
Overnight low temperatures will range from the mid 40s across
western Nebraska, to the low 70s across southeast Kansas and
northern Oklahoma. Breezy winds will continue across much of the
region overnight.
