In downtown Wilmington, much of Water Street from Orange Street to Red Cross Street is flooded. The lowest portions of Water Street between Princess and Orange Streets are impassable. Portions of River Road and adjacent residential roads, south of River Road Park, may become impassable. Flooding of residential areas along River Road expands. Route 133 at Little Mallory Creek is flooded and flooding begins at Old River Road. Flooding of US 421 Truck near Carolina Beach Road worsens. US 421 North at USS North Carolina Road begins to flood. Check with local officials for any road closures or impacts. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Affected areas listed are based on average tide conditions.
