Fire Weather Planning Forecast
for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
225 AM EDT Sun Jun 7 2026

...FIRE DANGER STATEMENT FROM NOON EDT TODAY THROUGH THIS EVENING
FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...

.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions will prevail today along with slightly gusty winds
at times. A weak cold front will then impact the area starting
later Monday bringing low to moderate rain chances, mainly for
inland southeast NC. Low to moderate rain chances should then
linger through the end of the week as we get back into a more
summertime pattern but the risk for widespread significant
rainfall remains pretty low.

Wind profile analysis/fire control over flat terrain is Favorable.

Fog potential for tonight is None.
