.DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered light showers will be possible west of I-55 into
this evening along with more mid level cloud cover, though most areas
should stay dry today. Due to relatively low mixing heights and light winds,
ventilation will remain poor today through Monday. Showers and thunderstorms
will likely return to central IL overnight Tuesday night, and into southeast
IL on Wednesday. Several waves of showers and a few thunderstorms are
expected over the area Wednesday through Friday with moderate to heavy rains
possible.
