.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather will prevail through Thursday across central and southeast
Illinois, with a period of light rain likely Thursday night into
Friday. Periods of breezy winds are expected the next few days as a
low pressure system passes by to the north, bringing southerly winds
gusting around 30 mph Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night, shifting
to northwesterly Wednesday. Very dry conditions this afternoon with
relative humidity down near 20 percent north of I-72 will end overnight
as cooler temperatures develop. Additional moisture will raise
humidity Tuesday after a warm front lifts through the area. Ventilation
will be Fair Tuesday, and will improve somewhat Wednesday as mixing
heights increase.
