04/17/2026 Fulton IL NWS Storm Survey
This is a correction to a previous tornado
LSR. EF1, peak wind speed 110 mph, path
length 11.3 miles, path width 900 yds. This
tornado entered Fulton County from McDonough
County along Waters Rd. Here it did roof
damage to a home along with more extensive
tree damage, snapping off large trees, and
destroying a machine shed. It also destroyed
a newer grain bin as it moved to the
northeast. As it continued to the northeast
it likely merged with a newer tornado that
came from the south.
