A frontal boundary will stall over our region on Friday, bringing chances for scattered mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Breezy easterly winds are expected at the event site on Friday and Friday evening. Warm and humid conditions will prevail on Friday and Saturday at the event site, with highs on Friday afternoon around 80, followed by mid 80s on Saturday afternoon. A wave of low pressure will develop along the stalled front over the Gulf on Friday night and Saturday. Winds will shift to southwesterly late on Friday night ahead of this approaching storm system, with breezy to windy conditions expected at the event site beginning by the mid to late morning hours on Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely to increase at the event site on Saturday afternoon, with the potential for strong to possibly isolated severe thunderstorms. The main hazards with stronger storms on Saturday afternoon would be gusty winds, frequent lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. .FRIDAY...
