Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
354 PM EST Fri Nov 14 2025

...Very low relative humidity expected on Monday...

.DISCUSSION...Winds will increase ahead of an approaching cold
front on Saturday, with the flow carrying higher dew points into
the region. This will result in higher minimum relative humidity on
Saturday. The cold front is expected to bring at least scattered
showers on Saturday night. Cooler and much drier air then arrives
behind the front for Sunday and Monday, with minimum relative humidity
dropping to around 30 percent or less each day. It will also be rather
breezy ahead of the front on Saturday and behind the front on Sunday,
with winds then dropping off considerably for Monday as high pressure
builds in from the northwest.
