Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
249 PM EST Mon Dec 1 2025

.DISCUSSION...Clouds will increase this evening ahead of incoming
precipitation. Some of it will fall as a wintery mix and produce
widespread impactful snowfall accumulation and light icing from
Elliott to Rockcastle counties and northwest. Further southeast,
a brief transition to snow is possible Tuesday morning but will
likely be too brief for any notable impacts. A reinforcement of
cold air arrives as the precipitation departs on Tuesday. The next
notable chance of precipitation will be this weekend.
