Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
422 AM EST Wed Dec 3 2025
.DISCUSSION...Below normal temperatures are forecast for
the next week. High pressure building in from the west should
finally allow cloud cover to decrease today into this evening.
A cold front approaching from the north tonight and moving
south through the area on Thursday will bring another increase
in clouds, but no precipitation. The next possibility for
precipitation (a potential winter mix) will be with an upper
level disturbance passing over on Thursday night and Friday.
