Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
435 PM EST Sat Dec 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...Dry weather is expected to linger in Sunday morning,
before a low pressure system nears. Rain chances increase ahead
of that system`s cold front on Sunday evening. After that boundary
passes, the precipitation will mix with and change to all snow by
around dawn on Monday. Only light accumulations are forecast with
this system. Drier weather follows briefly for Tuesday before
additional systems potentially impact the Commonwealth later in
the week.
