.DISCUSSION...A weak cold front will pass through this morning,
though the only impact will be some increased cloud cover and
continued cool temperatures. The potential for more significant
precipitation, especially for areas near and south of the Mountain
Parkway, will return overnight and into Friday, as an upper level
disturbance passes and an area of low pressure tracks along the Gulf
coast. This could result in a wintry mix of snow and rain, with some
pockets of light freezing rain also possible. Additional chances for
precipitation are forecast at times to end the weekend and for the
middle of next week.
