Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
447 AM EST Sun Nov 30 2025

.DISCUSSION...A cold front will move through this morning,
with some light rain possible along and ahead of the front.
After frontal passage, colder and drier air will arrive and
persist through Monday. More significant precipitation is
possible in the Monday night-Tuesday time frame because of
a weather system passing to our south. Some of this
precipitation may occur as accumulating snow or ice,
especially north of the Mountain Parkway.
