...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LETCHER...SOUTHEASTERN
PERRY AND SOUTHWESTERN KNOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 813 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cornettsville, or 10 miles southeast of Hazard, moving northeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch diameter hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Whitesburg, Hindman, Letcher, Bath, Pippa Passes, Vicco, Blackey,
Elic, Winters, Cody, Oscaloosa, Van, Pine Top, Leburn, Viper, Carr
Creek, Colly, Isom, Premium, and Nealy.
