Through 1130 am, scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms will
move south to southwest at near 5 knots through the nearshore and
offshore waters of the Keys. Mariners encountering the stronger
activity can expect blinding downpours, wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots,
and occasional lightning strikes. Island communities could see brief
shower passages with rainfall of a few hundredths of an inch.
