.NOW...
Through 800 pm, a strong outflow boundary is moving northward over
the offshore waters of the Florida Straits, which could produce wind
gusts near 25 kts. Meanwhile, scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms will continue across the Lower Keys and adjacent
nearshore waters. This activity will be relatively stationary but
mariners encountering the stronger of the activity can expect heavy
downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts near 20 knots, and a few
lightning strikes. In addition, island communities across the Lower
Keys could expect a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rainfall.
