Through 2 am, isolated showers with the potential for a thunderstorm
will continue moving to the northwest at near 5 knots across the SE
Gulf, especially between Smith Shoal Light and P Tower, and the
central distant Straits of Florida. Mariners encountering this
activity can expect blinding downpours briefly reducing visibility,
wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots, and the potential for an occasional
lightning strike.
