Through 1000 pm, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
track generally westward at near 10 knots across the Florida Keys and
the adjacent nearshore and offshore waters. Island location along
the Upper Keys will be most likely to be affected, and receive a
quarter to three quarters of an inch of rain. The stronger activity
will produce wind gusts 20 to 25 knots, blinding downpours, and a few
cloud to surface lightning strikes.
