Through 530 am, scattered showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will be nearly stationary, and dot mainly the near through offshore waters from the Lower Keys to Rebecca Shoal. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near 30 mph, blinding downpours, and possibly a few lightning strikes. Island locations near Islamorada will be most likely to be affected and receive a quarter to one half of an inch of rain. $$
