...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL ROCK...NORTHEASTERN
GARFIELD AND SOUTHWESTERN HOLT COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM CDT...

At 1252 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles south of Stuart, or 21 miles southeast of Bassett, moving east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
O`Neill, Atkinson, Stuart, Chambers, Amelia, Emmet, and Pony Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 276 and 311.
 Highway 281 between mile markers 177 and 191.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
