Fire Weather Planning Forecast
National Weather Service Lake Charles LA
255 PM CDT Wed Jun 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...
As upper-level ridging overhead continues to weaken, the area will
see an increase in showers and thunderstorms beginning this
afternoon and continuing through Friday. The best rain chances
each day can be expected between late morning and the early
evening hours. Temperatures will continue to warm into the low to
mid 90s each day, although the addition of better rain chances
should keep us below heat advisory criteria Thursday.
