846 FZUS63 KDTX 160836 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 336 AM EST Sun Nov 16 2025 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.00 inches, will move across northern New England this morning. High pressure, 30.00 inches will hold across the Upper Midwest. Gale force northwest winds between these two systems will be the result on Lake Huron today. These will also draw cold air across the lakes, triggering snow squalls. The high pressure system will move into the Great Lakes region Monday into Monday night, leading to weakening winds. Weak low pressure is forecast to track across the Ohio Valley Tuesday while high pressure holds firm across the northern Great Lakes.
