Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
538 PM CDT Wed Jun 3 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms will remain possible
over the next several days. Humidity values behind a front have
dropped slightly, but overall well above critical thresholds.
Winds during the day may also gradually increase a bit, but
overall with RH values and the potential for rain over the coming
days, critical fire weather conditions are not anticipated.
