Chandeleur Sound... Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM... Mississippi Sound... At 602 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending from 11 nm northwest of Grand Bay to 7 nm west of Chandeleur Sound, moving east at 15 knots. Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher waves, and dangerous lightning strikes.
