OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan
National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
900 PM CST Mon Nov 17 2025

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure of 29.7 inches over northeastern Nebraska will
continue to move east tonight, bringing slowly increasing easterly
winds into Tuesday morning. Winds will become breezy and
northeasterly over the southern half of the lake as the low moves
into the Ohio River Valley Tuesday evening. Winds then ease
Wednesday as high pressure of 30.3 inches moves over the lake.
High pressure exits into Thursday morning, with winds becoming
southwesterly as a low pressure system progresses eastward across
northern Ontario. A cold front from that low pressure system will
shift winds to northwesterly overnight Thursday into Friday.
