495 FZUS61 KBUF 031404 GLFLO Open Lake Forecast for Lake Ontario National Weather Service Buffalo NY 1004 AM EDT Wed Jun 3 2026 For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A 30.4 inch high will expand to the Ohio Valley and eastern seaboard this afternoon through Thursday. This high will eventually drift off the southeast coast Friday. A weak cold front will then settle south across the lower Great Lakes Saturday into Sunday. High pressure averaging 30.4 inches will push southeast into the region starting early Monday and center near or just east of the lake through Wednesday.
