...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

  Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or
may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and
property.

These forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well as
forecast precipitation 48 hours into the future. Changes to the
rainfall forecast, or any additional rainfall after 48 hours, may
cause changes to these river forecasts.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41
  in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Low-lying wetlands and agricultural land is
  inundated near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river continues to gradually rise. The
    maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM CDT
    Saturday was 7.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.4 feet
    early tomorrow afternoon. The river is forecast to remain above
    flood stage through at least the middle of the week.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 7.4
    feet on 02/17/2005.
