rainfall. MinRH values will remain high with excellent overnight

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

...MODERATE TO HIGH RISK OF FLASH FLOODING, DEBRIS FLOWS, SWIFT WATER
RESCUES, AND LOCALLY STRONG WINDS LATER TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY...

A storm system will continue to impact southwest California
through Sunday, bringing periods of moderate to heavy rain,
isolated thunderstorms, and gusty winds. There is a high risk for
road flooding and heavy flows in rivers and streams with swift
water rescue potential. There is a moderate risk of localized flash
flooding, urban flooding, and debris flows in the most vulnerable
burn scars. A few trees may be knocked down by the winds and wet
soil. Peak rain rates of 0.25 to 0.50 inches per hour will be
common during the next wave of the storm, tonight through Saturday,
with localized rates of 0.50 to 1.00 inches per hour (mainly south
of Point Conception) are probable. Rain chances decrease on Sunday,
but another storm is likely on Monday with only minor impacts, with
another potential storm by next Thursday or Friday.
