Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure builds to 30.1 inches over the Great Lakes this
morning before a weak 29.9 inch trough moves into the Upper Great
Lakes this evening. This is followed by weak 30.0 inch ridging
Sunday ahead of a deeper 29.8 inch trough moving over the lake on
Monday. Ridging builds to 30.2 inches over the lake on Tuesday,
giving way to height falls into the middle of the week as a 29.3
inch low lifts off of the Central Rockies into Lower Michigan by
Wednesday.
