For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

Ridging has weakened to 29.9 inches over Lake Superior this morning
as 30.0 high pressure shifts east of the lake and extends from
southern Quebec to Lower Michigan. Deep troughing of 29.3 inches is
lifting out of the Canadian Rockies, with a 29.7 inch trough
extending south through the Plains. Pressure will fall to 29.7
inches over Lake Superior tonight and continue to deepen to 29.6
inches on Wednesday as the Canadian trough strengthens into a 29.0
inch low over Hudson Bay Wednesday afternoon. 29.8 inch troughing
lingers over the lake on Thursday between this low and another 29.6
low over the South Plains. High pressure then builds to 30.3 inches
over the Northern Plains Thursday night into Friday and shifts east
to the Great Lakes Friday night and Saturday.
