Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 29.2 inch low will lift northeast into the Great Lakes by Friday
morning. As it moves through northern Lower Michigan and Lake Huron
through the day, it will weaken to 29.5 inches. The low will
continue to weaken Saturday, devolving into bent back toughing of
30.2 inches by Sunday morning. Troughing continues to weaken Sunday
as a 31.0 inch high moves across Manitoba. This high will weaken to
30.5 inches as it moves through northern Ontario Monday. Behind the
ridge Monday night and Tuesday, a deepening clipper of at least 29.8
inches moves into the Northern Plains, reaching Lake Superior by
Tuesday night.
