This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a slight winter storm threat Friday and Friday night.
Light snow is possible, especially south of Baltimore during the
afternoon and evening. If this threat materializes, travel
disruptions are possible. The Friday morning and evening commutes
could be impacted.

There is a slight winter storm threat Saturday and Saturday night,
as well. Additional accumulating snow is possible, and may cause
travel disruptions if the threat materializes.

Gale conditions are possible Sunday afternoon and night.

Cold wind chills around 0 degrees are possible Sunday night.

Maryland.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a slight winter storm threat Friday and Friday night.
There is an increasing threat of light snow during the afternoon
and evening. If this threat materializes, travel disruptions are
possible. The Friday morning and evening commutes could be impacted.

There is a slight winter storm threat Saturday and Saturday night,
as well. Additional accumulating snow is possible, and may cause
travel disruptions if the threat materializes. The threat appears
highest east of the Blue Ridge and Catoctin Mountains.

Cold wind chills around 0 to 5 below zero are possible Sunday
night, especially over the higher elevations.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Allegheny Front
counties in western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, and Highland
County Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Blizzard Warning is in effect for western portions of Garrett,
Grant, and Pendleton Counties. A Winter Weather Advisory is in
effect for eastern Garrett and western Highland Counties beginning
at 4 PM this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A Blizzard Warning continues across western portions of Garrett,
Grant, and Pendleton Counties until 10 AM Thursday. A Winter
Weather Advisory continues for eastern Garrett and western
Highland Counties until 7 AM Thursday.

There is an enhanced winter storm threat Friday and Friday night.
Accumulating snow is becoming increasingly likely, and may cause
more significant travel disruptions and closures.

There is a slight winter storm threat Saturday and Saturday night.
Confidence is increasing in additional accumulating snow, which
would cause travel disruptions if the threat materializes.

Dangerously cold wind chills of 10 to 20 degrees below zero are
possible Sunday and Sunday night.
