Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
149 PM CDT Sun Jul 26 2026
.DISCUSSION...
Despite unseasonably warm temperatures this week, fire weather
concerns remain minimal, mainly due to generally low ERCs/Fire
Danger, and mostly normal to above normal fuel moisture. Minimum
afternoon relative humidity will bottom out in the upper teens to
lower 20s. Recovery overnight will be moderate to excellent.
