Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
146 AM CDT Sun Aug 31 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low through the period. Rain chances
continue for the region through Monday and highs begin to trend
closer to seasonal norms. These factors, combined with minimum
RHs above critical values across the region, light winds, and ERCs
at or below the 50th percentile, will limit fire weather.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
