Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
310 AM CDT Mon Jun 30 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Min RH above critical 15%, good to excellent overnight recovery,
20-ft winds below 20 miles per hour, fuel ERCs less than 75th
percentile, and seasonable temperatures with a good chance of
wetting rains over drier fuels maintain low fire weather
conditions into the end of this week. Fire starts are still
possible from lightning and gusty, erratic winds in storms.
However, vegetation greenery is expected to limit spread and
intensity of any ignited flames.
