Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
127 AM CDT Mon Aug 18 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain very low as the forecast is
unchanged. Plentiful moisture keeps low relative humidity from
developing and overnight recovery is excellent. Winds continue to
be light outside of thunderstorm outflow. Beneficial rains
continue across the region, keeping fuel moisture above normal.
