...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of eastern Collier and
southeastern Hendry Counties through 230 AM EDT...

At 205 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout near Big
Cypress National Preserve, or 22 miles northeast of Everglades City,
moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts and wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hendry Correctional and Big Cypress National Preserve.

This activity was also developing in an environment favorable for the
